Exploring Lights and Demons.

The name Khorsheedak comes from the Persian word for “little sun.”
I have always been obsessively in love with the sun — with warmth, light, and reflection with colours.
I grew up surrounded by Iranian architecture — among mosques, coloured glass windows, old streets, mirrors, geometry, and patterns. My research and fascination with Persian architecture and Eastern cities, especially my hometown of Esfahan, deeply shape the visual language of my work.
My art is mostly self-taught. My entire artistic journey has been experimental, and intuitive. In the beginning, my works were heavily inspired by the geometry of Iranian architecture and the reflection of light through coloured glass and mirrors.

A restless soul, constantly drawn toward experiencing art in every possible form and pouring the noise, emotions, and wandering thoughts of the mind into the world.

For years, art became my escape from reality, and through that escape, my colourful cities were born: cities that breathe and survive through sunlight.
My demons are not evil creatures. They are lonely, gentle beings trying to find their place in this world, much like humans themselves.
I work across sculpture, ceramics, and painting, and these days I have fallen deeply in love with watercolour.
Beyond art, I am passionately interested in anthropology, ethnography, humanity. My work is ultimately an attempt to understand people, loneliness, memory, light, and the strange inner worlds we all carry within us — a journey that is still evolving through videography, and one that I hope will grow into documentary filmmaking in the coming years.
